Tottenham Hotspur came from behind to beat London rivals West Ham United 4-1 on Saturday.

The Hammers had taken a surprise lead in North London, but goals from Dejan Kulusevski and Yves Bissouma put the hosts in front.

An own goal extended Spurs’ lead, before captain Son Heung-Min rounded off the win for the Lilywhites.

Now, it appears that Spurs have been handed a transfer boost.

According to Football Insider, Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo is keen to play at the highest level, amid interest from Tottenham.

The Ghanaian has started the new season in fine form, scoring three goals and providing an assist.

The winger’s superb form in the early stages of the season has attracted interest from Spurs, Arsenal and Newcastle United.

Semenyo has started the new season in fine form

Earlier this year the Ghana international signed a new contract which is set to run until the end of the 2028/29 campaign.

That puts the Cherries in a commanding position during any potential negotiations, and it has been reported that the south coast outfit could demand between £40-50 million for Semenyo.

The 24-year-old joined Bournemouth from Championship side Bristol City last January and has since played more than 50 times for the club.

It is claimed that the forward would be interested in following former teammate Dominic Solanke to Spurs, as he is keen to further his career and play at the highest level.

Spurs have aspirations of qualifying for the Champions League this term, having narrowly missed out last season.

The Lilywhites finished fifth in the top flight last season and therefore qualified for the Europa League this term.
