Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a surprise move for Blackburn Rovers star Bradley Dack, according to the Sunday Express.

The attacking midfielder has been a revelation for Rovers since his £750,000 switch from Gillingham in 2017, winning the League One Player of the Season Award last term as he helped fire Tony Mowbray’s side to promotion.

Stepping up a level to the Championship has failed to faze the 24-year-old who has notched eight goals and five assists from 11 appearances in all competitions.

As well as attracting interest from England boss Gareth Southgate, who’s been to watch the ex-Gill, Dack has caught the eye of Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs scouts.

Mauricio Pochettino is keen to add to his squad in January after failing to sign any players in the summer.

The Argentine boss side isn’t shy in recruiting and developing players from lower leagues, and is still tracking Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish after failing to land the playmaker – or any new faces – in the summer.

However, the Ewood Park outfit will be desperate to keep hold of their man after a start to the season which sees them in with a chance of pushing for back-to-back promotions and a return to the Premier League for the first time since 2012.
