It’s been a tough time for Tottenham Hotspur, manager Jose Mourinho and the club’s fans in recent weeks.

Spurs are currently on a six-game winless run in all competitions which has seen them knocked out the FA Cup and Champions League.

Their latest defeat came at the hands of RB Leipzig, who eased to a 3-0 (4-0 aggregate win) in Germany on Tuesday.

The Bundesliga side were far superior over both legs with two-goal star Marcel Sabitzer one of numerous players causing Spurs problems.

According to CalcioMercato, the 25-year-old’s performances have impressed Mourinho, who is keen on bringing him to the Premier League.

Jose Mourinho’s Spurs are without a win in six matches.

The Austria international has scored 15 goals in all competitions for the entertaining German outfit.

However, it’s claimed that the forward has also attracted interest from Spurs’ North London rivals Arsenal, meaning a transfer battle could well be on the cards.

Sabitzer, who joined Leipzig from Austrian side Rapid Wien in 2014, has a contract with Leipzig until 2022.
