Both of Christian Eriksen’s Premier League goals this season came at Swansea City in Spurs’ 2-2 draw at the Liberty Stadium.

With last season’s hotshot Harry Kane only just starting to find his feet in the 2015-16 Premier League campaign; much of Tottenham’s achievements so far this term have been down to the strong influence of Christian Eriksen. The 23-year-old, who arrived at White Hart Lane from Ajax for a reported £11m over two years ago, has scored twice and assisted four in his seven league outings for Spurs so far this season. With Mauricio Pochettino’s men currently perched outside the English top-flight’s top-four in sixth-place after a solid unbeaten run of nine games, Denmark international Eriksen has spearheaded that resolute run of form by commanding the centre of midfield and continually threading through chances for Spurs’ forwards to latch onto. Both of the midfield maestro’s goals were magnificent free-kicks at Swansea City earlier this month, single-handedly rescuing a point for the visitors in their entertaining 2-2 draw at the Liberty Stadium to stretch their unbeaten record to seven successive league games. As well as assisting three goals already; Eriksen has produced 17 other key passes to open up goalscoring opportunities this season, something I’m sure Kane will start firing in more regularly following his hat-trick at Bournemouth on Sunday.
