FC Barcelona are reportedly weighing up replacing Neymar with England international star Dele Alli this summer, according to the Express.

The La Liga giants, who pocketed a world-record £200m earlier this week following the Brazilian forward’s decision to leave the Nou Camp for Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain, have been linked with the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.

The 21-year-old, who has 19 international caps for The Three Lions, scored an impressive 22 goals and provided 13 assists in 50 appearances in all competitions for Spurs last season.

Alli, who joined Tottenham back in February 2015 from League One club Milton Keynes Dons in a deal worth an initial £5m, has netted 32 times in 96 games overall for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Following Neymar’s departure this summer, the report suggests Barcelona are considering a raid on Spurs for the central midfielder’s services, having kept close tabs on the player throughout the past 12 months.
