Chelsea begin their pre-season preparations when they face Wrexham on Thursday.

The Blues are on tour in the USA this summer, facing the likes of Celtic, Club America and Manchester City, before returning to face Inter Milan at Stamford Bridge.

New manager Enzo Maresca will want to see his side impress against Wrexham in California on Thursday, although the pre-season tour will also give the Italian a chance to experiment with his squad.

Chelsea have signed no fewer than six players so far this summer, with owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital continuing the huge spending that they have become synonymous with.

Here, we take a look at the six signings that the Blues have already made this summer.

Tosin Adarabioyo: Central defender – Free agent

Centre-back Tosin became the first signing of the summer for Chelsea when he signed as a free agent after leaving West London rivals Fulham. The 26-year-old played more than 132 times for the Cottagers during his time at the club, and will compete with the likes of Axel Disasi, Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile for a starting spot in Maresca’s side next term.

Tosin has made the short switch from Fulham to Chelsea

Marc Guiu: Forward – Barcelona (£5 million)

Young striker Guiu made an instant impact on his professional debut for Barcelona, scoring just seconds after being subbed on against Athletic Bilbao in October last year. The 18-year-old strikes departed the Spanish giants to join Chelsea earlier this summer when the Blues activated his cut-price release clause, and he is set to be involved in the first team next season.

Guiu scored two senior goals for Barcelona

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall: Midfielder – Leicester City (£30 million)

Englishman Dewsbury-Hall played an instrumental role for the Foxes as they won the Championship title last term, and he has now followed manager Maresca from The King Power Stadium to Stamford Bridge. The 25-year-old played 129 times for Leicester across all competitions, scoring 17 goals and registering 20 assists.

Dewsbury-Hall provided a combined 27 goals and assists for Leicester last season

Omari Kellyman: Attacking midfielder – Aston Villa (£19 million)

Chelsea have signed a number of young players during Clearlake’s two years in charge of the club, and Kellyman became another player to add to that list when he departed Aston Villa for West London earlier this summer. The attacker had only made six senior appearances for the Villans, but the Blues forked out £19 million to land the teenager.

Chelsea paid a staggering £19 million to sign Kellyman from Villa

Renato Veiga: Left-back/Centre-back – FC Basel (£11.7 million)

Veiga’s move from Swiss club Basel to Chelsea came as something of a surprise for many people, but the versatile defender is set to be involved with Maresca’s first team for the upcoming campaign. The Portuguese – who can play as a left-back or as a central defender – spent just one season with Basel having joined from Sporting CP last year.

Caleb Wiley: Left-back – Atlanta United (£8.5 million)

Full-back Wiley became the latest youngster to be signed by Chelsea as he completed a move to London on Monday. The American had impressed for MLS side Atlanta United, scoring six goals and providing seven assists in 85 games for the club at senior level. It remains to be seen whether the 19-year-old will spend next season at Chelsea, or be loaned to sister-club Strasbourg.
