Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck is being linked with an extraordinary move away from the Emirates.
Reports suggest that Besiktas are prepared to lure him to the Turkish Super Lig before the close of the transfer window this summer.
The 24-year-old only completed a £16m deadline day move to the Gunners from Premier League rivals Manchester United last summer.
However, the England international has struggled to hold down a regular first-team spot under Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger after scoring eight goals in 37 appearances in all competitions last term.
With boss Wenger also thought to be keen on moves for fellow strikers Karim Benzema and Fernando Llorente from Real Madrid and Juventus respectively, Welbeck’s future at the Emirates could be under threat after just one season.
