The transfer window is well underway and Premier League clubs are already busy trying to bolster their squads ahead of the new season.

North London giants Arsenal have finished second in each of the past two seasons, and manager Mikel Arteta will therefore almost certainly be looking to add to his squad in order to mount a successful title challenge next term.

The Gunners have been linked with a number of players in positions all over the pitch in recent weeks, but it appears that one of their current crop of players is attracting interest from elsewhere in the Premier League.

As per Football Insider, both West Ham United and Nottingham Forest have expressed an interest in Arsenal forward Reiss Nelson.

Nelson could depart The Emirates this summer, with interest from Premier League clubs

The report claims that Arsenal are willing to sell fringe players this summer in order to raise funds for new signings, and Nelson is one of those that could be sold.

The Englishman is a product of the Gunners’ youth academy and has made 89 appearances for the North London side across all competitions.

Last term the 24-year-old played 23 times across all competitions, but started just one Premier League game.

He is contracted to the club until 2027, but the winger could leave The Emirates this summer.

It is claimed that the player himself has told Arsenal that he intends to leave the club this summer in order to secure regular first team football.

As well as the Hammers and Forest, fellow Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion are also said to be interested in a potential deal for Nelson.

Arsenal are said to value the winger at £25-30 million.
