Chelsea will hope to keep alive their hopes of a top-five Premier League finish when they host Everton on Saturday.

Last time out, the Blues came from behind to beat West London rivals Fulham 2-1 at Craven Cottage.

That result temporarily moved Enzo Maresca’s side into fifth place, however they dropped down to sixth after Nottingham Forest beat Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night.

This summer could be a busy one at Stamford Bridge with plenty of incoming and outgoings expected all over the pitch.

Now, it appears that two of Chelsea’s Premier League rivals are monitoring one of their attackers.

TBR Football claims that both West Ham United and Wolves are interested in forward Joao Felix, who is currently on loan at AC Milan.

Felix – once the fifth most expensive player of all time – re-joined Chelsea on a permanent deal last summer having previously spent time on loan in West London.

He struggled to force his way into Maresca’s side, though, starting just three Premier League games during the first half of the campaign.

The Portuguese was therefore sent on loan to Milan in January, but his struggles have continued in Italy where he has failed to score in 13 consecutive matches since netting on his debut for the club.

It is claimed that Chelsea have told Felix that he is free to leave the club this summer, and both Wolves and the Hammers have expressed initial interest in the Portugal international.

Felix, who cost Chelsea £45 million last year, is under contract until the end of the 2030/21 campaign but it appears increasingly likely that he will depart Stamford Bridge during this summer’s transfer window.

Chelsea are said to be pushing the player’s representatives to explore a move away from Stamford Bridge.
