Saudi Arabian clubs have taken the transfer market by storm this summer, with a number of high profile players moving to the Middle East.

The likes of Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante and Neymar are among those to have moved to the Pro League so far this summer, however the transfer window in Saudi Arabia shuts on Thursday evening.

With that in mind, it appears that two Premier League players will be staying put at their respective clubs.

According to The Athletic, both Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah and Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho will stay put in the Premier League.

Salah was the subject of a colossal £150 million bid from Saudi side Al-Ittihad last week, but the Reds stood firm and insisted that the Egypt international was not for sale.

Despite the Pro League side’s desire to strike a deal, the report claims that Salah won’t be leaving Anfield with such little time left before the window shuts in Saudi.

Sancho faces an uncertain future at United after appearing to criticise Erik ten Hag on social media

Salah, 31, has scored a remarkable 188 goals in 309 matches for Liverpool across all competitions since joining the club from Roma in 2017.

It is a similar story for Sancho, who has been involved in a public spat with United boss Erik ten Hag after the Dutchman criticised his attitude in training.

The England international faces an uncertain future at Old Trafford and was linked with a shock loan switch to Al-Ettifaq on Thursday morning, but the report claims that he will instead stay in Manchester.

Sancho has struggled ever since arriving in Manchester from German club Borussia Dortmund two years ago, and the Englishman was left out of the United squad for their defeat against Arsenal at The Emirates on Sunday.

It remains to be seen whether or not he will be reintegrated into the Red Devils squad once domestic football returns after the international break.
