Although the summer transfer window isn’t yet open, clubs are still working hard behind the scenes.

The window officially opens on June 14, but clubs across the Premier League are already working hard to prepare potential deals ahead of its opening.

It could be a busy summer for several top flight sides, including Tottenham Hotspur who could once again delve into the market to bolster manager Ange Postecoglou’s squad.

It appears, though, that the Lilywhites are also set to let two of their current players leave the club this summer.

As per Football Insider, Tottenham will accept reasonable offers for both full-back Djed Spence and midfielder Bryan Gil during the upcoming transfer window.

The pair have both failed to establish themselves as regulars for Spurs, and the North London side will therefore look to cash in on them in an effort to raise funds.

Gil, 32, joined Tottenham from Spanish side Sevilla in the summer of 2021 and has since spent time both back at his former side and on loan at fellow Spanish club Valencia.

In total he has made just 43 appearances for Spurs across all competitions since his move to London, and the report claims that he will be made available for sale.

Spence, meanwhile, joined Tottenham from Championship side Middlesbrough in 2022, having helped Nottingham Forest secure promotion to the Premier League while on loan at The City Ground.

His move to North London hasn’t gone to plan, though, and the Englishman has played just six times for the club at senior level.

He has spent time on loan with Rennes, Leeds United and Italian side Genoa since his move to Tottenham two years ago, and the report claims that the club will now look to sell him this summer.

This is despite the full-back’s current contract not expiring until the end of the 2026/27 season.
