Manchester United came from behind to beat French side Lens 3-1 in a friendly on Saturday.

The Red Devils went behind when new goalkeeper Andre Onana was lobbed from close to the halfway line, but goals from Marcus Rashford, Antony, and Casemiro ensured they were ultimately victorious.

United face Spanish side Athletic Bilbao on Sunday in their final pre-season fixture of the summer, before they get their Premier League campaign underway with a game against Wolves.

New striker Rasmus Hojlund was unveiled in front of the supporters at Old Trafford for the game against Lens, with the Denmark international becoming United’s third summer signing after Onana and midfielder Mason Mount.

The Manchester outfit are believed to be hopeful of selling at least two more players before the transfer window shuts, but it appears that two of their current stars could now stay put despite being heavily linked with a move away.

Maguire could stay put at Old Trafford despite being put up for sale

As per Football Insider, Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay could remain at Old Trafford beyond the end of the current window.

The pair have both been linked with a move away from the club this summer, but the report claims that United won’t sell the players if they don’t receive adequate offers.

Maguire was stripped of the club captaincy last month having fallen out of favour last season, and the central defender has been made available for sale.

Despite this, the report claims that United won’t force the ex-Leicester City man to leave the club, meaning that he could remain a Manchester United player for the upcoming season.

It is a similar story for McTominay, who has fallen behind the likes of Casemiro and Christian Eriksen in the pecking order at Old Trafford.

The Scotland international has attracted interest from Everton, West Ham United, and Newcastle United, the report claims.
