It is no secret that Paul Pogba is a keen Ultimate Fighting Championship fan, so it was no surprise to see the Manchester United midfielder strut his stuff and impersonate featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor, via his Instagram account.

The 23-year-old, who re-joined the Red Devils from defending Serie A champions Juventus earlier this summer in a world record £89m deal, paid his own tribute to the iconic Irishman after McGregor made UFC history by becoming the first fighter to hold belts in two weight divisions simultaneously after knocking out Eddie Alvarez on Saturday night.

Pogba, preparing for tonight’s clash against Ivory Coast with his France international team-mates, copied the champion’s familiar strut on the sidelines in this video.

The midfielder is set to be back in action for United when they host Arsenal at Old Trafford on Saturday.
