Having won just one of their last six Premier League outings, perhaps Tottenham need a little boost in the final third.

How about a certain Samuel Shashoua?

The 16-year-old starlet scored twice for Spurs’ Under-18 side against Southampton, including this spectacular long-range effort, which was caught on camera via our friends at Furious Football Diaries (FFDTV).

Shashoua boasted a sharp turn on the edge of Saints’ 18-yard area, before unleashing a powerful low strike into the bottom corner, giving the goalkeeper no chance.

The highly-rated playmaker has also made his Tottenham Under-23 debut earlier this season against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, whilst also being a regular international for England at Under-18 level.

Only time will tell whether Shashoua will make the first-team grade at White Hart Lane, although on this showing, manager Mauricio Pochettino must already be lining up future plans for the talented teenager.

Tottenham host Swansea City on Saturday (15:00) in the Premier League.
