Wales star Aaron Ramsey targeted by Serie A giants AC Milan as he runs down his Arsenal contract

AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing Wales international star Aaron Ramsey, according to The Sun.

The Serie A giants, who have recorded one victory from their opening two league games so far this campaign, have been linked with luring the Arsenal midfielder to the San Siro next summer.

The 27-year-old, who has 55 international caps for The Dragons, has started three of The Gunners’ four Premier League fixtures so far this season.

Ramsey, who joined Arsenal back in June 2008 following his reported £4.8m switch from Cardiff City, has scored 59 goals in 335 appearances in all competitions for the North London outfit overall.

However, with the Welshman’s current deal at the Emirates Stadium set to expire in June 2019, Italian side Milan have identified the central midfielder as a potential transfer target ahead of next summer’s transfer window.

Having yet to agree a contract extension at Arsenal, Ramsey could leave The Gunners for free next summer, with Milan already making known their interest in the player.

He is valued at £40.5m.
