BT Sport is continuing its #GoalsRecreated campaign with former Manchester United and England captain, BT Sport analyst Rio Ferdinand recreating iconic goals by former team-mates David Beckham and Paul Scholes.

The campaign sees some of the biggest names in football try to re-create their favourite goals from across the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and Emirates FA Cup. #GoalsRecreated has already seen the likes of Harry Kane, Mesut Ozil and Riyad Mahrez attempt iconic goals.

In the latest videos released today, United legend Rio Ferdinand attempts to recreate David Beckham’s lauded free kick against Southampton in the Premier League in 1996.

The strike, although magnificent, is not one remembered so fondly by Red Devils fans as it came at The Dell during the Saints famous 6-3 victory over Sir Alex Ferguson’s side.

The day may have been one to forget for the visitors but Becks’ goal should never be forgotten and is certainly worth having a go at, take a look at Rio’s effort and have a go yourself.

Share your effort using #GoalsRecreated.

BT Sport’s favourite goal from across the whole of this season, as picked by its panel of judges, will win two tickets to this year’s UEFA Champions League Final in Cardiff. The favourite efforts each month will be promoted by BT Sport. Go to http://www.btsport.com/GoalsRecreated for more information.
