Manchester United prodigy Angel Gomes is reportedly attracting interest from FC Barcelona, according to the Daily Mail, and it isn’t hard to see why!

The 16-year-old, who made his Red Devils Under-18 debut aged just 14 and has since captained England at Under-16 and Under-17 level, is thought to be on the La Liga giants’ radar after dazzling for United’s youth.

Gomes is highly-regarded as one of the brightest talents to emerge at Old Trafford and is currently contracted with the club until 2018.

He further enhanced his reputation as a future star by netting a hat-trick against Everton for Manchester United’s Under-18 side at the start of the season, before captaining his country, all in the same week.

Academy boss Nicky Butt has high hopes for the Young Lion, though his raw talent hasn’t gone unnoticed, with Barca aware of his immense potential.
