FC Porto striker, Andre Silva, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal, showed exactly why the Gunners should snap him up on Monday night as he bagged a first half hat-trick against the Faroe Islands.

No matter who the opposition, a quick fire hat-trick, such as the one the 20-year-old bagged is impressive by any standards, especially when you’re only making your fourth appearance for the national side, alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese has reportedly been scouted by Arsenal and will be fairly familiar to fans who watched Leicester City’s Champions League clash with Porto last month, where he played 90 minutes.

Silva opened the scoring in the 11th minute with this close range strike…

Ten minutes later the wonderkid headed home to double the European Champions’ lead…

And finally, with just 37 minutes on the clock, the Porto man wrapped up his hat-trick with a calm finish after the Faroe Islands ‘keeper parried the ball to his feet…
