Watford are reportedly set to secure the signing of AS Roma winger Juan Iturbe.
The Hornets have been chasing the Argentine since the summer and have now agreed a £1 million loan deal, with an option to buy for £11 million at the end of the season.
Roma only signed the wide man a year-and-a-half ago for £16 million, but he has failed to reproduce the form which saw him shine at Verona.
This season, the ex-Porto man has appeared 19 times in all competitions for the Serie A title contenders, but has just one goal and one assist to his name.
Iturbe is now thought to be on his way to England to seal his switch to Vicarage Road, and could even start training with Quique Sanchez Flores’ side before the transfer window opens on January 1.
