Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster has played for a number of clubs during a successful career spanning almost two decades.

Despite spending time in all four of the top divisions in England, winning trophies during a stint at Manchester United and playing for England, the 38-year-old is insistent that he is currently enjoying his job more than ever.

“I’m definitely enjoying it more,” he told Shoot.

“Once you get a bit older you realise you should be enjoying yourself.

“I have literally got the dream job so I should go out and enjoy every game, with a smile on my face.

“I’m now doing it the way I do in training, where we’re all just smiling and having a good time.”

Away from the pitch, Foster, who is nearing his 20th season in the professional game and is closing in on 400 Premier League appearances, has started a YouTube channel.

Foster is back in the big time with Watford

Named The Cycling GK, Foster gives viewers inside access into the life of a professional footballer, with fellow players also featuring on the channel.

“I remember bringing the camera out and the lads were a bit sceptical at first,” explained the man with eight Three Lions caps.

“They wondered why I was pulling the camera out here, there and everywhere.

“Then, once they started seeing what the actual content was and the story that it told, they all got on board and now really enjoy it.”
