Midfielder Valon Behrami hasn’t started a Premier League fixture for Watford since being sent off against Swansea City back in September.

Summer signing Valon Behrami could depart Watford after just six months at Vicarage Road if transfer speculation is anything to go by.

The 30-year-old, who has 63 international caps for Switzerland, signed a three-year deal with the Hornets after leaving Hamburg back in July.

The Swiss midfielder was a regular at the beginning of the campaign, starting the club’s first five Premier League fixtures, before being sent off against Swansea City in early-September.

Since then; Behrami has failed to earn another starting spot under boss Quique Sanchez Flores in the league this term, making just another five further appearances from the bench.

Serie A outfit Udinese are reportedly favourites to sign the out-of-favour central midfielder this month, with the ex-West Ham United player eager to play regular football before the 2016 UEFA European Championships this summer.
