Carlos Kameni makes a save for Cameroon.

Currently sitting in ninth in the Premier League table, it is fair to say that it has been a brilliant season for Watford so far following promotion last term.

While the form of Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney has been outstanding, the Hornets have also looked solid at the back, excluding a couple of errors from Heurelho Gomes who, to be fair, has also been in inspired form.

However, it is thought that manager Quique Sanchez Flores could look to provide the former Spurs goalkeeper with some competition during the transfer window, and the Spaniard has been linked with a move for Malaga stopper, Carlos Kameni, after being impressed with him during his managerial spell in La Liga.

The Cameroon international is reported to have a release clause of just £1 million from the Spanish outfit, but Flores could face competition from rivals, Bournemouth, for the 31-year-old’s signature.
