Name: Jefferson Montero
Position: Winger
Club: Swansea

Jefferson Montero enjoyed a fast start to the season but has since struggled for form.

Watford have surprised many this season with their direct, fearless displays against the country’s elite sides.

And after enjoying a fantastic return to the Premier League so far, the Hornets will want to add a body or two before the window shuts to keep up the form they’ve shown in the first 23 matches.

With Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo producing the goods up front, we think a bit more creativity on the flanks, in the shape of Swansea City winger Jefferson Montero, could do the Hertfordshire some good.

It wasn’t long ago that the Ecuadorian international was being linked with some of Europe’s best clubs after a blistering start to the campaign. However, like his club, the 26-year-old has gone off the boil and is now available for transfer.

And with Quique Sanchez Flores’ interest and knack of getting his players to play at their maximum level on a consistent basis, the speedster could be willing to swap the Liberty for the Vic.
