Name: Jose Manuel Jurado
Position: Attacking Midfielder

Jose Manuel Jurado has had more of an impact in the number 10 role.

The partnership of Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo have rightly grabbed the headlines for Watford in their first-top flight season since 2006/07.

However, in a month which saw three straight defeats, followed by a hard fought 2-1 win over Newcastle United, it’s been Jose Manuel Jurado who’s been the Hornets’ standout performer.

The Spaniard has always been a danger since signing from Spartak Moscow in the summer but has this month found more consistency, having much more of an impact since being deployed behind Ighalo in the number 10 role.

Now Quique Sanchez Flores will hope his fellow countryman, 29, can maintain his current form through to the end of the season.
