Lucas Perez was one of Arsenal’s best players over the festive period, and could be in line for a recall against Burnley on Sunday.

The Spaniard scored his first Premier League goal in the 3-3 draw at Bournemouth on January 3, before producing an excellent display in the Gunners’ 2-1 victory over Preston in the third round of the FA Cup four days later.

Nonetheless, the 28-year-old lost his place against Swansea, but Wenger may shuffle things around against Burnley, especially with three games in seven days the following week.

Thus, Perez deserves a chance against Dyche’s men on Sunday.
