West Brom have been linked with a move for Kelechi Iheanacho.

According to a report in the Birmingham Mail Tony Pulis has added his name to the list of managers prepared to take the Manchester City striker on loan or make a permanent bid for his services.

Iheanacho scored an impressive eight goals in the season just ended but has only started one Premier League game since the turn of the year.

With Pep Guardiola expected to bring in a number of new attacking options the initial plan was to send the Nigerian striker out on loan next season but reports of a £20m bid from Everton could alter that way of thinking.

West Ham, Southampton and Borussia Dortmund are interested in Iheanacho but with West Brom’s chronic scoring problems a move to the Hawthorns could be on the cards.

Finishing the season without a win in their last nine matches Pulis knows that he must find new firepower for next season after Salomon Rondon finished top scorer with eight goals- only one of which came after Christmas.
