West Brom interested in £1.5m-rated England international

West Brom are set to make a January move for Premier League striker Gabby Agbonlahor.

The English top-flight side, who face Bristol City in the FA Cup today, are thought to be interested in Aston Villa’s out-of-favour forward during this month’s transfer window.

The 29-year-old, who earned three international caps for England,  has failed to score in ten appearances in all competitions for the Baggies’ Midlands rivals so far this season.

Agbonlahor, who is valued at around £1.5m, has fallen heavily out-of-favour under new manager Remi Garde this campaign and is set to leave Villa Park after nearly 22 years with the club.
