West Bromwich Albion have reportedly joined Everton, Crystal Palace and Watford in the race to sign Levante defender Zouhair Feddal, according to the Daily Mail via the Birmingham Mail.

Despite the Spanish side sitting five points from safety at the bottom of La Liga, the Morocco international has been their stand out player, and he is also out of contract this summer, which has alerted a number of Premier League clubs.

The latest of those teams to declare interest is the Baggies, who are impressed by the 27-year-old’s versatility – the 6ft 3in player is able to feature in central defence, at left-back or in midfield, while he is also comfortable on the ball.

Feddal only joined Levante last August, but is said to be open to a move away from Spain if the club are relegated at the end of the season.

However, there is likely be a lot of competition for the Moroccan’s signature, with scouts from Watford, Everton and Palace all taking a closer look at the defender this term.
