West Brom have reportedly joined the race to sign Manchester United defender Jonny Evans.
It is understood that the Baggies are interested in bringing in the Northern Ireland international to The Hawthorns before the close of the transfer window, with Premier League rivals Arsenal, Everton and Stoke City also said to be interested.
The 27-year-old, who has 42 international caps, made only 19 appearances for Louis van Gaal’s Red Devils last season in all competitions.
Evans, who has played almost 200 games for the Old Trafford outfit, has failed to feature in any of United’s matches so far this season, making his surplus to requirements under manager Van Gaal.
Manchester United value the centre-half, who enjoyed two loan spells at Sunderland between 2006 and 2008, at around £12m.
