West Brom are reportedly preparing a £7m move for Scotland international Andrew Robertson.

The Premier League side, who have slumped to 17th in the table following their 2-0 defeat at Crystal Palace last weekend, are keen on handing the Hull City full-back a return to the English top-flight in the January transfer window.

The 21-year-old, who only arrived at the KC Stadium from Dundee United last summer, made 24 Premier League appearances for the Tigers last season.

With six international caps to his name; Robertson is one of Steve Bruce’s most prized assets at Hull following their relegation into the Championship, where the defender has already played eight league games this term.

Baggies boss Tony Pulis is eager to strengthen his defensive options following the disappointing form of Sebastien Pocognoli, with midfielder Chris Brunt regularly having to drop back into the left-back role.
