Name: Jonny Evans
Position: Centre-Back

In a West Brom team that has largely been uninspiring this season, shown by the 3-1 loss against Reading in the FA Cup fifth round at the weekend, it isn’t easy to pick their BRIT Awards winner for 2016.

However, summer signing Jonny Evans has certainly impressed the Baggies’ faithful with his committed performances, and has shown his versatility by playing in a number of positions aside from his usual centre-back spot, including left-back and defensive midfield.

The Northern Ireland moved to the Hawthorns following a nine-year spell with Manchester United and has, on occasions, shown why he made nearly 200 appearances for the Red Devils.

The 28-year-old, who is the most decorated player in Northern Irish history with nine major trophies, will want to help West Brom push further up the Premier League table as they currently lie just eight points above the relegation zone with 12 games to go.
