Summer signing Rondon is West Brom’s top goalscorer in the Premier League this season with six strikes.

Snatching the award from the grasps of defender Craig Dawson is club-record signing Jose Salomon Rondon, who is finally starting to show why the Baggies splashed out around £12m for the hitman.

The 26-year-old, who has 46 international caps for Venezuela, single-handedly secured West Brom four points during February’s antics to help his side pull 12 points clear of the Premier League’s relegation zone.

Firstly Rondon; who arrived at the Hawthorns back in August from Russian top-flight outfit Zenit Saint Petersburg, netted the Baggies’ last minute equaliser at home to Swansea City, earning his team a crucial point and prevented a fellow relegation rival to gain three points against them.

Then the former Malaga man tucked away the only goal of the game at Goodison Park to seal an impressive 1-0 away win at Everton. Furthermore; Rondon then assisted in West Brom’s thrilling 3-2 victory over Crystal Palace last Saturday, teeing up midfielder Craig Gardner for the opening goal.
