West Bromwich Albion endured another mixed month in March as they picked up four points from a possible nine, but one of their stand out players in their three fixtures was Jose Salomon Rondon.

The Venezuela international opened the scoring against the Premier League leaders Leicester City in the Baggies’ first encounter, holding off Robert Huth to finish well, with his side eventually drawing 2-2 with the Foxes at the King Power Stadium. The striker could, and perhaps should, have also given Tony Pulis’ side the win when he fired over from six yards out.

Better was still to come for the attacker though, as he netted the winner against Manchester United at the Hawthorns five days later in a 1-0 victory for Tony Pulis’ team, firing home from Sebastien Pocognoli’s cross from the left wing.
