The ruthless streak which saw Spurs turn what looked to be a 2-1 loss against the Hammers earlier this season into a dramatic late 3-2 win was nowhere to be seen in the return fixture.

The likes of Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane were harried throughout the 90 minutes and, as hard as they tried, were unable to click in the manner which has seen them blow away teams for fun in recent weeks.
