Chelsea continue to be linked with a number of possible candidates as they search for a replacement for Mauricio Pochettino.

The Argentine departed Stamford Bridge earlier this week after just one season in charge, and several managers have since been linked with the vacant position.

Ipswich Town’s Kieran McKenna had looked likely to take charge, while a sensational third spell for Jose Mourinho had also been rumoured at one stage.

Former Brighton and Hove Albion boss Roberto De Zerbi remains one of the favourites to succeed Pochettino, but whoever is appointed will undoubtedly have plenty to deal with when they arrive at Stamford Bridge.

This summer is set to be a busy one in West London, and it appears that one of their homegrown stars is set to leave the club.

As per Football Insider, centre-back Trevoh Chalobah is a target for several Premier League clubs including West Ham United.

Chalobah could leave Chelsea this summer

The report claims that the Blues will accept a suitable offer for Chalobah this summer as they look to raise funds, and several clubs including the Hammers could revive their interest in the player.

Chalobah, 24, looked likely to depart Stamford Bridge last summer having fallen out of favour, but he stayed put and played an important role for Pochettino’s side in the final weeks of last season.

Despite starting Chelsea’s last six league games of the campaign, the Englishman still looks set to leave his boyhood club this summer with those in charge of the club prepared to accept an appropriate offer.

Chalobah is currently contracted to Chelsea until the end of the 2027/28 campaign, but the club could look to offload him this summer in a bid to raise funds and ensure they adhere to the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules.
