West Ham United are reportedly eying a move for ex-Arsenal midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup.

The Premier League side, who currently sit sixth in the table after accumulating 14 points from their opening eight league games, are thought to be keen on signing the Turkey international during the January transfer window.

The 23-year-old, who has 12 international caps to his name, has scored one goal in seven appearances in all competitions for Super Lig side Besiktas so far this season.

Ozyakup, who is also attracting interest from former club Arsenal, left the Gunners back in 2012 for around £300,000 after spending four years at the Emirates as a youngster, making just two first-team appearances.

Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is an admirer of the attacking midfielder’s services having managed Ozyakup last season.

He is now valued between £10m-£15m by Turkish giants Besiktas.
