With less than a month to go until the start of the new Premier League season, the transfer window is hotting up as clubs look to complete new signings.

Just three of the 20 Premier League sides – namely Liverpool, Manchester City and Fulham –  are yet to complete a signing so far this transfer window, but there is still plenty of time for deals to be completed.

Now, it has emerged that West Ham United are trying to sign a Manchester United defender.

As per The Evening Standard’s Simon Collings, the Hammers have joined the race to sign United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

It is claimed that West Ham, who have already signed Max Kilman from Wolves, are looking to sign a full-back and have also shown interest in Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters.

Wan-Bissaka has also emerged as a target, though, with United said to be ready to cash in on the Englishman.

Wan-Bissaka could leave Man United this summer

The 26-year-old joined the Red Devils from Crystal Palace in 2019, having impressed for the Eagles.

Since arriving at Old Trafford, the defender has made 190 appearances across all competitions.

The defender has recently entered the final year of his current contract, though, and United are therefore ready to cash in on the player this summer in an effort to avoid losing him for free next year.

Wan-Bissaka is also said to have attracted interest from clubs in the Turkish Super Lig.
