West Ham United are reportedly monitoring former Arsenal striker Carlos Vela.
The Premier League club are in the market for a new striker following the news that Enner Valencia will be ruled out for 12 weeks with a leg injury.
Vela, 26, scored 10 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions for David Moyes’ Real Sociedad last season.
The Mexico international, who has 39 caps, scored 11 goals in 62 games for Arsenal during his eight-year stay at the Emirates Stadium between 2005 and 2012.
Vela also had a previous loan spell with West Brom back in 2011, scoring twice in eight appearances, before leaving the Premier League for La Liga a year later.
