Arsenal and Liverpool target Manuel Lanzini has said he is ‘very happy’ at West Ham despite speculation linking him with a move away this summer, reports the Metro.

The Argentine has been a shining light in a testing campaign for Slaven Bilic’s Hammers, bagging eight goals and laying on two assists in 34 Premier League appearances to help the East London outfit to the safety of mid-table.

And following the departure of star man Dimitri Payet back in January, the £8.5 million-rated (as per Transfermarkt) star has done a great job in carrying the mantle and becoming the Hammers’ main man in the attacking third, and his fine form has reportedly attracted interest from the higher echelons of the Premier League, most notably Arsenal and Liverpool.

However, Lanzini has insisted that he is focused on West Ham, saying: ‘[With the win over Tottenham], we achieved the points to stay in Premier League, which was the most important thing.

‘We did not have a good start of the season, but now we need to think in the next game and the next season.

‘For now, I am thinking of the next game then thinking of having good holidays with the family. I am very happy here.’

This will surely come as good news to West Ham fans, who would have likely seen the speculation surrounding the 24-year-old’s future at the club, as well as manager Bilic, who will already be thinking about how he can take his team to the next level in 2017/18.

And having Lanzini on the books will certainly make that task much easier.
