West Ham United are reportedly planning a summer raid for Belgium international striker Michy Batshuayi this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

The Premier League side, who lie just four points adrift of the top four in sixth spot, are willing to wait until the end of the current campaign to approach the £20m-rated Marseille star.

The 22-year-old, who has two international caps to his name, has scored an impressive 15 goals in 29 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 outfit this season.

Batshuayi, who joined Marseille from Standard Liege back in August 2014, is wanted by the Hammers as their new marquee signing this summer ahead of the club’s move into the Olympic Stadium.

However it is also understood that Premier League rivals Tottenham are long-term admirers of the Belgium forward.
