West Ham United are reportedly considering making an audacious bid for Argentina international Ezequiel Lavezzi in the summer.

The Premier League side, who defeated Liverpool 2-0 at the weekend to move up to sixth in the standings, are thought to be keen on making the Paris Saint-Germain winger their marquee signing before moving into their Olympic Stadium at the end of this campaign.

The 30-year-old, who has 48 international caps for his country, has scored twice in just 15 league appearances for the defending Ligue 1 champions so far this season.

Lavezzi, who becomes a free agent in June when his current contract runs out in the French capital, is wanted by Hammers boss Slaven Bilic to replace Chelsea loanee Victor Moses, who will return to his parent club in the summer.

However West Ham face stiff competition in the form of Serie A giants Inter Milan for his signature.
