West Ham United are reportedly ready to sell England international striker Andy Carroll next month.

The Premier League side, who endured a goalless draw against Swansea City last weekend, are understood to have quoted Newcastle United £18m if they want to re-sign the towering forward during the forthcoming January transfer window.

The 26-year-old, who has nine international caps for the Three Lions, has scored one goal in ten league appearances for Slaven Bilic’s Hammers so far this season.

Carroll, whose spell in east London has been plagued by injuries, originally left the Magpies for Liverpool back in January 2011 for a then British record £35m.
