West Ham are reportedly ready to make a £20 million move for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to the Daily Mirror.
Slaven Bilic is keen to sign a top attacker during the summer ahead of the club’s move to the Olympic Stadium next term, but the Croatian manager may need to first secure Champions League football if he hopes to bring the 24-year-old to east London.
The France international is understood to be keen on a move to the Premier League, but rejected a move to strugglers Newcastle United in January as he wants to play European football.
The Hammers are currently fifth in the top flight standings, just two points behind Manchester City in that all-important fourth position.
Lacazette, who has also attracted the interest of other English clubs, such as Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool, in the past, has scored 46 goals in 77 appearances in all competitions since the beginning of the 2014/15 campaign.
