West Ham United are reportedly mulling over a January move for Burnley defender Tendayi Darikwa.

The Premier League side, who currently sit seventh in the standings after Saturday’s goalless draw at Manchester United, have been scouting the highly-rated Championship star throughout the beginning of the 2015-16 campaign.

The 23-year-old, who only arrived at Turf Moor from League One side Chesterfield back in July, has scored one goal in all 19 league games for the Clarets so far this season.

Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is understood to be keen on recruiting a new right-back in the New Year, especially with their lone option Carl Jenkinson only being on loan from English top-flight rivals Arsenal this term.
