Roma have reportedly joined West Ham United in the race to sign Danilo D’Ambrosio.

With the Italy defender set to leave Inter Milan this summer, Serie A rivals Roma have stepped up their interest in the 26-year-old full-back.

D’Ambrosio, who only arrived at the San Siro last January, scored three goals in 32 appearances in all competitions for Roberto Mancini’s side last season.

Despite the right-back featuring regularly for Inter last term, it is thought that the Italian giants are willing to show D’Ambrosio the exit should the club receive the right offer, with Slaven Bilic’s West Ham already reportedly holding discussions with the player’s agent.
