West Ham United are reportedly ready to reignite their pursuit of Turkey international Burak Yilmaz.

The Premier League outfit, who sit sixth in the table following Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Everton, are understood to be preparing an improved deal for the Galatasaray striker during the forthcoming January transfer window.

The 30-year-old, who was subject to summer speculation from the Hammers, has scored five goals in nine league games for the Turkish Super Lig outfit so far this season.

United boss Slaven Bilic tried to sign Yilmaz during the previous transfer window, but he failed in his attempts to seal a £3.5m deal for the former Besiktas forward in time.
