West Ham United are reportedly plotting a £10m offer for French full-back Kevin Malcuit this summer, according to The Sun.
The Premier League side, who currently sit tenth in the top-flight standings, had two bids rejected by AS Saint-Etienne during last month’s January transfer window for the defender.
The 25-year-old, who can also operate at wing-back or in midfield, has provided four assists in 27 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 outfit so far this season.
Malcuit, who played the full 90 minutes against Manchester United in their UEFA Europa League Round of 32 first leg clash at Old Trafford last week, was the subject of failed £7m and £8.5m offers from The Hammers earlier this year.
However, the report suggests West Ham are ready to increase their bid to £10m, with manager Slaven Bilic confident of pulling off a deal for the predominant right-back.
St Etienne paid just £700,000 to sign Malcuit from lower-league Chamois Niortais back in 2015.
