West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic is reportedly eyeing a January move for Burnley defender Tendayi Darikwa.

Following back-to-back victories over Southampton and Liverpool; it seems West Ham United are back on track in their pursuit of European football next term, although they will still need to strengthen during the January transfer window.

One specific player the Hammers have been heavily linked with recently is Burnley defender Tendayi Darikwa.

The 24-year-old, who only joined the Clarets back in July from League One side Chesterfield in a deal thought to be worth just over £500,000, has scored one and assisted another goal in 21 league games for the Championship outfit so far this season.

However Darikwa; who can also operate as a winger, has thoroughly impressed during the first-half of the 2015-16 campaign in the English second-tier and has alerted the likes of West Ham and rivals Leicester City to his availability this month.

Ideally Hammers boss Slaven Bilic would like to bring in the Burnley full-back to Upton Park over the next few weeks as he is unimpressed with the form of Arsenal loanee Carl Jenkinson this campaign.
