West Ham United are reportedly interested in landing Burkina Faso international striker Bertrand Traore on loan this summer, according to the Mirror.

The Premier League side, who finished in 11th spot in the English top-flight standings this term, have been linked with Chelsea’s £17m-rated forward following his impressive loan spell at Ajax.

The 21-year-old, who has 38 international caps for his country already, scored 13 goals and provided six assists in 39 appearances in all competitions for the Eredivisie outfit last season.

Traore, who helped the Dutch club reach the 2017 UEFA Europa League final, where they eventually lost out to Manchester United in Sweden, joined The Blues’ youth academy back in 2010 following his move from Auxerre.

The report suggests The Hammers are eager to secure a loan move for the young forward, who has netted four times in just 16 first-team outings for Chelsea, although they are prepared to thrash out a permanent deal if the Premier League champions are willing to sell.

However, Everton are also said to be interested in his services.
