Dimitri Payet has refused to rule out a January exit from West Ham United, according to Telefoot in France.

The Premier League side, who drew 1-1 at home to Stoke City at the weekend, risk losing the France international star after the Hammers’ poor start to the 2016/17 campaign, where they currently sit just one point above the relegation zone after their opening 11 league games.

The 29-year-old, who has 30 international caps for his country and starred for France at this summer’s Euro 2016 in his homeland, has scored two goals and provided five assists in 11 appearances in all competitions for West Ham so far this season.

Payet, who joined Slaven Bilic’s side from Marseille back in June 2015, endured an incredible debut term at the Boleyn Ground last year, netting 15 goals and setting up a further 17 strikes in all competitions.

However, with the Hammers now struggling at the bottom end of the English top-flight, Payet admits leaving the London Stadium outfit could be a possibly.

He told Telefoot, “We’ve had a very poor start. Leave in January? I’m asking other questions right now but I’ve closed the door to nothing.”
